Colours: Whether in pans or tubes, the choice is yours. Pans might be more convenient for portability as they come in a pocket box. Check out the links below for a few recommendations:
CWC SKT Pocket Box (our recommendation)
Cotman Watercolour Set 10x5ml
Student WatercolourBrush: Consider this brush pack for your painting needs. The brushes must be specific for watercolours: CWC Short Handle Brush
Paper: Ensure that the paper is suitable for watercolours. 100% cotton is expensive. I recommend something similar to the link below. They are 25% cotton, so the quality is good enough, but it does not break the bank.
Spiral 25% cotton, Jumbo 25% cotton, Pad 25% cotton

MEET ALFIE
Alfie Gatt has been teaching watercolour evening classes for three years, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of his creative journey. What he love most about teaching is the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life, to hear their stories, understand their motivations, and watch them grow in confidence as they explore the medium. Each class brings a new energy and sense of discovery, both for his students and for himself.
Alfie is a firm believer that creativity flourishes in a relaxed and encouraging environment, where everyone feels free to experiment and express themselves. Guiding others to find their own rhythm, voice, and joy in painting is something that deeply inspires him.
