Being adaptive, staying ready, and building stories & brands that are remembered - with Andrew Mercieca.
The Workshop
This workshop focuses on real world videography and content creation, with an emphasis on adaptability, decision making, and storytelling with purpose. It is built around the reality that shoots rarely go to plan, and that being able to respond clearly and calmly matters as much as technical skill.
Drawing from over ten years of professional experience, the session looks at how to approach videography in a way that supports long term brand impact rather than one off visuals. The focus is on intent, clarity, and making work that holds meaning beyond the moment it is published.
The Details
This four session course combines practical insight, real examples, and hands on discussion drawn from commercial, event, and campaign based work.
Across the sessions, you will learn how to prepare for shoots with intention, stay flexible on set when conditions change, and make creative decisions that support the story rather than distract from it. The course also looks at how to think about content in terms of longevity, audience, and brand memory.
Attention is given to both shooting and post production, helping you understand how choices made on set affect editing, pacing, and final delivery.
By the end of the course, you will:
Adapt confidently in real world shooting scenarios
Approach videography with a focus on storytelling and brand impact
Plan, shoot, and edit content more intentionally
Think clearly and problem solve under pressure
Apply practical tools and mindsets immediately to your own work
What you’ll need:
Nothing. You are welcome to bring a camera if you wish, but it is not required.
Dates:
Workshop over four session.
July 9th | July 16th | July 23rd | July 30th. 6PM.
In Person.
Location:
