THE WORKSHOP

A workshop designed for filmmakers, performers, educators and anyone curious about how we can build more ethical, respectful, and caring cultures through media and storytelling.

Led by Anarella Martínez-Madrid, this session explores how on-set intimacy coordination is as much about human connection, emotional boundaries, and applied consent practices as it is about cameras. Drawing from her work with Erika Lust Films and Sex School Hub, you’ll learn to use intimacy coordination as a tool for trauma-informed care, sex education, and cultural change.

Whether part of the industry or simply passionate about consent, communication, and care, this workshop offers tools, insight, and inspiration for anyone interested in building a more respectful world.

A film clapperboard with some credits, a glass dish filled with red and black berries, some jewelry, and a fan on a wooden table. The background shows a tiled floor.
A group of people in a dimly lit room with a red lamp, engaging in conversation. One person is sitting on a sofa, while others are standing, with some wearing lingerie and casual clothing.
Group of five women sitting and standing on a balcony with lush plants, smiling, one woman holding a black umbrella, others holding books and fans, in sunny outdoor setting.
