MEET MARIANNA
Marianna works within a fashion university as a lecturer and researcher, operating at the intersection of critical theory, creative practice, and education. Her research focuses on contemporary society: how cultural codes shift, how meaning is produced, how fashion, media, and design respond to social tensions rather than trends. I spend a great deal of time helping students unlearn automatisms and shortcuts, and instead develop depth, context, and position.
In her teaching practice, Marianna mentors students through concept development, from early research and cultural analysis to the shaping of narratives, visual identities, and project logic. She works closely with students on asking better questions before jumping to solutions on building projects that are intellectually grounded, culturally aware, and capable of standing in the world without shouting.
