Poker is about more than the cards in your hand. It is about reading situations, making decisions without having all the information and knowing when to show what you are thinking.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn the basics of No-Limit Texas Hold’em and explore what happens when you sit down at the poker table. How do you make decisions under pressure? How much do you reveal without saying a word? And when does a poker face actually help?

By the end of the workshop, you will know the basic rules and strategies of No-Limit Texas Hold’em and have everything you need to play a game yourself.
Along the way, you will also get a closer look at how you make decisions, react under pressure and communicate without words. You will explore when it makes sense to manage your emotions and when showing them can work in your favour.

You will spend most of the workshop at the poker table. Short introductions give you what you need to get started, followed by hands-on exercises where you learn by playing.
You will make decisions, observe other players and pay attention to your own reactions. Short discussions throughout the session connect what happens at the table with situations you might recognise from everyday work and life.
You’ll learn by playing, making decisions at the table and reflecting on what they reveal about the way you think and act in business.
Meet Claudia
Claudia Chinello is the founder and owner of PokerAcademy and has been working as an entrepreneur and poker coach for more than 20 years. As a qualified business economist, she combines insights from poker with practical approaches to leadership, communication and teamwork.
Through interactive workshops and keynotes, she shows how strategic thinking, emotional control and sound decision-making can strengthen everyday business.
