O.O.P.S. - Overthinking Off, Pencil Starts with Kaya Bagamaz

€40.00

The Workshop

O.O.P.S. is a simple and gentle drawing session where the hand takes the lead and the mind follows. No need to know how to draw. It is a way to think through the smallest possible gesture.

This workshop helps you overcome creative blocks and shift out of overthinking into a calmer and clearer mindset. We’ll turn to our natural instincts through a simple method that regains clarity and confidence to help us guide our hand on paper.

The Details

Ideas often appear before they can be explained. A tiny accident becomes the beginning of a thought instead of a mistake. This approach comes from creative psychology and also mirrors early avant garde practice, where a gesture was treated as an active part of thinking.

The session introduces a few simple real tools that help this process unfold naturally: how to let form trigger associations, how to reduce a thought into one clear gesture, how to follow what appears without forcing it. These methods make creative thinking feel lighter, more instinctive and more reachable for anyone.

By the end, the page holds something that could only come from that moment and that hand. Not a finished piece, but a beginning. Maybe even the first quiet hint of an idea you will eventually bring to life.

What you’ll need:

A pen or pencil, a few sheets of plain paper, and a quiet corner where you can draw comfortably.

Dates:
19th May, 2026.
6pm CET.
Online.

MEET KAYA BAGAMAZ

Kaya is an art director and visual thinker who has been drawing not for perfection but for clarity, curiosity, and sometimes for pure chaos. Her work lives at the intersection of design, storytelling, and playful problem solving. She builds brand identities, sketch ideas, and helps teams reconnect with the part of their mind that still remembers how to explore without fear.

In Kaya’s practice, a line is never just a line. It can be a mood, a question, a small act of rebellion against the obvious. Over the years, she has developed creative systems for brands across Europe.
