Turn Ideas Into Code, and Code Into Power
with Connor Allatto
The Workshop
Unlock the world of coding in a fun, hands-on way! This workshop is designed for anyone who wants to take their first steps into programming or sharpen their skills in a supportive environment. Whether you’ve never written a line of code or you’re curious to expand your knowledge, you’ll leave with the confidence to build, experiment and create.
The Details
In this workshop, you’ll learn core coding concepts such as variables, loops, functions and problem-solving strategies through hands-on exercises that make coding approachable and fun. Together, we’ll explore how to build simple apps, games or interactive scripts, as well as how to spot and fix errors like a pro when things don’t go to plan.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll not only understand the fundamentals of programming but also walk away with real projects you’ve built yourself. More importantly, you’ll gain the mindset of a coder: logical, creative and ready to tackle challenges.
What you’ll need:
Basic text editor or IDE installed (e.g., VS Code, PyCharm, or Sublime Text)
Notebook and pen for jotting down notes and ideas
Optional: USB drive or cloud storage access for saving projects
Dates:
