MEET LEO
Leo G. Alonso, born in Madrid in 1987, is an interdisciplinary artist based in Berlin. He completed a Master of Arts degree in stage design, sculpture, and audiovisual arts at the Complutense University of Madrid and also studied theater technology, lighting design, and new technologies in performance art.
In recent years, L.G. Alonso has worked as a stage designer and lighting designer on projects such as a stage designer and lighting designer on SPACE DUDES by Henrike Iglesias (Berlin, 2023), Turning Turandot by Olivia Hyunsin Kim (Hanover, 2024), Afterlives by Henrike Iglesias (Bangkok/Berlin, 2024), The Fairy Queen by Olivia Hyunsin Kim (Stuttgart, 2025). Leo G. Alonso developed the spatial concept for the Sportfest at Ballhaus Ost (Berlin, 2025) together with Valentina Primavera.
